World governments are introducing new laws, financial penalties, and even prison time for failing to quickly identify and remove online harms such as cyberbullying, abuse, violent threats, terrorism, and child exploitation. The UK recently released the Online Harms White Paper, a collection of recommended legislative measures, including Duty of Care compliance, to keep users safe online.
For the first time in history, the collective global will exists to make the internet a safer place. Two Hat believes that this is a shared responsibility between industry, government, non-profits, and end users.
