VANCOUVER, B.C. (June 16, 2020) – The World Economic Forum today selected leading AI-technology company, Two Hat, as one of its 2020 Class of Technology Pioneers. The Technology Pioneers of 2020 bring together 100 early to growth-stage companies from around the world that are pioneering new technologies and innovations such as the use of artificial intelligence to fight human trafficking, driverless trucks, quantum computing systems, compostable packaging, and blockchain solutions to tackle disinformation.
As part of this selection, all Technology Pioneers can participate in a two-year program with the Forum, when they have the opportunity to collaborate with their emerging tech peers, engage with industry leaders, and work with public and private experts around the world.
Two Hat is the creator of two platforms that protect users from abuse, hate speech, child exploitation, and more in online communities. Community Sift is an AI-powered, all-in-one content moderation platform that filters, classifies, reports, and escalates online harms in real-time for enterprise-sized businesses. Meanwhile, Sift Ninja is a simple, yet powerful profanity filter designed for smaller services, apps, and games.
“We are honored to be selected for the World Economic Forum’s 2020 Class of Technology Pioneers,” said Chris Priebe, CEO and founder of Two Hat Security. “Through this selection, we look forward to working with world leaders on making the internet a place where everyone is free to share without harassment or abuse.”
We’re excited to welcome Two Hat Security to our 20th cohort of Technology Pioneers,” says Susan Nesbitt, Head of the Global Innovators Community, World Economic Forum. “Two Hat and its fellow pioneers are developing cutting edge technologies all over the world. Beyond their innovations, these firms are contributing greatly to improving the state of the world.”
